Next, we thoroughly cleaned and sanitized the attic with Nisus DSV, a powerful disinfectant that eliminates bacteria, viruses, and any lingering odors. After that, we sealed air leaks around plumbing penetrations, wiring gaps, and top plates with closed-cell foam to prevent conditioned air from escaping into the attic. We also checked for rodent entry points and sealed any potential gaps to keep pests out.

With the attic prepped, we installed premium fiberglass insulation, bringing the attic up to an optimal R38 level. This upgrade will significantly improve the home’s ability to retain comfortable temperatures year-round while reducing HVAC strain and energy costs.
