Brian contacted us because he had a unique insulation project and was looking for an experienced and highly-rated insulation company to help. He discovered Tyson Energy Solutions through our hundreds of 5-star Google reviews and had us come to check out his attic. We thoroughly inspected his attic and explained that he needed to add more insulation to the attic and insulate the roof deck and knee walls with fiberglass batting to achieve his goals.

We took the following steps to expertly complete the project in Brian’s unique home:

– we removed the old batting insulation that had fallen off and become compromised

– we added fiberglass batting to his roof deck and all of the knee walls in his attic

– we blew in premium, fiberglass insulation

Brian was extremely pleased with how the project went. He noticed that his home was cooler and more comfortable in the Central Valley heat and his cooling costs were reduced by about 30%. He will also experience reduced heating costs and a quieter home due to the extensive amount of insulation that was installed.

Lynn contacted Tyson because she was frustrated by her high heating and cooling costs and her home being hot during summer and frigid during winter. When we came out and inspected her attic, we found that she only had about 8-9 inches of old batting insulation present. Batting insulation has a lower r-value than blown-in fiberglass, so her attic insulation was insufficient for our climate. We determined that an insulation upgrade would best help Lynn achieve her goals.

We began by air-sealing any visible leakage points with closed-cell foam to help prevent airflow between the attic and the living spaces of the home. We then blew in premium fiberglass insulation to an R49 level, which exceeds the Energy Star recommendation for our climate.

The insulation upgrade that we performed will ensure that her home is cooler and more comfortable during summer, and warmer in winter, and her heating and cooling costs will be reduced by up to 30% for as long as she resides in that home.

Charlene reached out to Tyson during the winter because her house was frigid. Her heater was constantly running in an attempt to keep her home warm, but was insufficient. Charlene started researching insulation companies and discovered Tyson Energy Solution through our hundreds of 5-star Google reviews. She called us and we came out to inspect her attic where we found that there was only 2 inches of insulation present. She decided to upgrade her insulation to R49, which is higher than the Energy Star recommendation for our climate.

We started the project by air-sealing visible leakage points. We then blew in 14 inches of premium, fiberglass insulation to bring her attic up to R49. The upgrade only took 2 hours.

As a result of the work we completed, Charlene will now enjoy a warmer, cozier home in winter, a cooler, more comfortable home in summer, and reduced heating and cooling costs by up to 30% for as long as she lives in the home.

Mike found us through our hundreds of 5-star Google reviews and asked us to install insulation in the attic above his garage. Because he spent a lot of time in there, he wanted it to be a comfortable temperature. He told us that there was currently no insulation up there, which we confirmed when we came out and inspected his attic.

We blew in premium fiberglass insulation to an R38 level, bringing the attic above the garage to the Energy Star-recommended level for our Central Valley climate.

As a result of the work we did, Mike’s garage will now be able to maintain a comfortable temperature, which will make his time spent in his garage much more enjoyable.

Michael contacted us because his cooling bills were extremely high, yet his home still felt hot and uncomfortable. He was looking to improve his home’s comfort and also reduce his cooling costs. When we came and inspected his attic, we found that it only had about 7 inches of insulation present. We determined that an insulation upgrade was the best option to help Michael achieve these goals.

We began by air-sealing visible leakage points in order to prevent air from traveling between the attic and the living spaces of his home. We then blew in fiberglass insulation to an R38 level, bringing the attic up to the Energy Star-recommended level.

As a result of the insulation upgrade, Michael will enjoy a cooler home during summer, a warmer home during winter, and reduced heating and cooling bills by up to 30% for as long as he lives in the home.
